How Would Your Doctor Know if You’re “Healthy enough for sexual activity?”

Breaking News! MDPNN launches today!

August 28th, 2007

Hey! What do you do with all the healthcare news that’s not really fit to print?

Well… we’ve decided to put them into podcasts.

My experiment with podcasting has been such a hit with listeners I’m pleased to announce the official launching of MDPNN, MD Podcasting News Network. A place where you can find real healthcare facts that are in the mass media and then have me make fun of ‘em! Parody newscasts, satirical specials, and off beat commentaries as well as editorial rants from the quirky humor of a curmudgeonly surgeon will be available 24/7 on the MD Parody News Network. Tomorrow we’ll be siphoning off previous experimental podcasts from our principle blog site, www.traysblog.com, to gather all the podcasts here at their new home.

So if you really haven’t anything better to do… waste a little time here and get a chuckle. But first — a little business about podcasting.

HOW TO WORK A PODCASTING BUTTON.

(If I hadn’t been asked, I wouldn’t have written these instructions.)

Even if you’re technochallenged, listening, or watching a podcast is VERY easy.

Find the buttons for the podcast… right under the text of a posting to the blog. (… see the little picture of what looks like a speaker, and immediately to your right, you’ll see another picture that looks like the tip of an arrow pointing to the right. These little pictures are right above the text that says “AUDIO MP3.”

The little arrow looks remarkably like the “play button” on a VCR, CD, DVD, or even a cassette tape player.

That’s because it is!

Only this “play button” is on your computer so you simply click your mouse cursor over the arrow and within moments, depending on how fast electrons on your computer and the internet magically move, you’ll hear and/or see the podcast.

(Make sure you have speakers and they’re turned on and up.)

Even if you’re technochallenged, this is all you have to do.

And after you’ve listened to the podcast, feel free to leave a comment!

Enjoy!
